This Day, And Nothin' But

In our prayer team meeting today, we had ministry time with each other. Jordan prayed for me about my ongoing school battle. I almost feel like it's a spirit of defeat or something that comes at me. Anyway, I feel a difference. A good one.

In Pre-Cal, I've slowly been moving my desk towards the far corner from Mr. Harber. He hasn't noticed yet. It allowed me to sit next to Hiro, who asks me questions about the problem we're on, then makes fun of me when I try to help. Dirty Japs.

My right nipple is bruised 'cause someone bit it. I live life on the edge.

I talked to Jason Holland about the Kenya trip (while he burned me a copy of me preaching) today, and he talked about how he didn't want most of the people to go with us that had been planning to. The group we ended up with was the group he wanted.

Ode To Door

I wrote some sad, upset, and confused blogs over the last few days, 'cause the week was awfully crappy, but instead, I'd like to share a poem inspired by and written during my Pre-Calculus class. It describes my outlook whilst we Pre-Calculate.

"Ode To Door"

Oh door,
Thy gateway is to me
The only escape from the hole I see.
You are in my eyes,
The escape from all I despise.
The floor is lava, and so is my chair
But your gateway leads out of despair
Oh! If the clock would only quicken its tick!
Then, THEN I'd give such a kick
And make my glorious escape
Through that luminescent, glowing gate.
My eyes falter, perhaps deceived.
Could it truly be time to leave?
No...NO! False hope slammed from my vision!
I found myself quite far from my mission.
Should I give up? Perhaps.
'Cause against time, who can last?

I Been Sickly

I learned a lesson. When vandals tear down your internet provider's three towers, life can get a lil' harder.

Skipping school for three days due to sickness (coughing, stuffy nose, and fever) is always a pleasure for me when I have internet. But when you're resting for hours and have no way to watch the new episode of Heroes and such.

Revolt went incredibly well. Everything came together in preparation, then, as every good retreat does, everything fell apart the day before/morning/afternoon of. When it came down to it, we were totally following God on it.

I'm auditing Pre-Cal, which means that I'm not getting a grade for the class. The principal said it would look worse on my transcript. I said that failing would look worse than nothing. I feel alright about it, considering that it is my 5th year of math, the second advanced and unrequired course.

Needs More Joints

I talked to Mr. Harber today, explained my point of view on the whole detention there, heard his side, and he ended up being quite open to having the permanent repercussions of my detention (having to take finals) repealed.

At the moment, Pre-Cal is becoming an enjoyable class. I already know everything we're learning right now (STUPID TRIGONOMETRY!) so I mostly sit and draw. And since I have the policy of not saying one word without being specifically called on, there's no chance of getting in trouble. I like drawing. Although, to be honest, since I feel unable to draw a normal body, I tend to draw a torso with limbs and head floating separately. They still convey whatever I'm saying, but I think I may need to throw in some ligaments.

I'll post more tonight if a revelation hits me.
